Laffor, whose contract with the African champions was set to expire at the end of the 2016/17 season, extended his contract with Sundowns by a further two years.
The Liberian international attacker was linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs during the January transfer period, however the lanky forward says he was never in doubt about his future.
“It’s something that I have been looking forward to (signing a new contract at Sundowns). I had an offer from Qatar and from other local teams but I chose Sundowns because I want to achieve and for my family to be happy,” said the 31-year-old forward.
“I was quiet I didn’t say anything, I let my management team do their job at the end of the day I am happy where I am. The most important thing is to give 120 percent for the club because it has been there for me. Sundowns is a great club and I believe my teammates and I can work hard and achieve. I need to win the MTN8 with Sundowns and win the Caf Champions League again and play in the Fifa Club World Cup again.”
