Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela set Twitter alight when he used an example of Mageu prices in his post-match interview following Amakhosi’s 1-0 win over Ajax this past weekend.

Komphela was asked if Chiefs were planning on signing any players in the transfer market. He tried to explain that Chiefs would have to pay a different price to what other clubs pay for a player.
Komphela used Mageu’s different pricing per shop as an analogy.

“We can go to the same shop and buy Mageu but the price will never be the same. And at Chiefs you’re required to give the best quality of Mageu.”
