Steve Komphela has apologised to Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane after a member of the Kaizer Chiefs security personnel allegedly attacked him after Saturday’s clash at the FNB Stadium.

“There was an incident after the match involving the coach and we want to apologise to Pitso,” said Komphela after the game.
“There was a skirmish. Football is a game of emotion. Our security personnel got too close to him. We wish to apologise.”
Mosimane thanked Komphela for apologising on behalf of Chiefs.
“Things do happen. This mustn’t darken a good game. It’s all OK,” said Mosimane.
Chiefs beat Sundowns 2-1 in front of a capacity crowd at FNB Stadium on Saturday night.
