This comes after reports that Khuzwayo has signed a pre-contract with Amakhosi’s crosstown rivals, Orlando Pirates.

Khuzwayo’s contract with Chiefs is set to runout at the end of the season. Amakhosi are said to have made Khuzwayo an improved offer to keep him, yet the goal minder has not agreed to it.

“Khuzwayo has the right to sign with any team he would like to play for. If he has signed a pre-contract with Pirates, will accept that,” Motaung told Isolezwe.

“He is free to sign with any team he wants to play for right now. He needs to sit down with his agent (Tim Sukazi) and make a decision. We won’t put pressure on him.”
Khuzwayo reportedly wanted to be guaranteed of game time before signing a new contract with Chiefs, however Amakhosi could not offer such guarantee.
