Khuzwayo joined Pirates after his contract with Kaizer Chiefs expired at the end of the 2017/18 season.
“I was able to play in Pirates development, destiny has brought me back to Pirates, I am grateful for that.
“Sundowns came and said they want to sign me also but for me it was simple I wanted to take Pirates to the next level,” Khuzwayo told Metro FM.
The Umlazi-born goalkeeper admits that Senzo Meyiwa and Pirates fans drove him to sign for the Buccaneers.
“I am coming home to Orlando Pirates now, I was part of the Pirates development, and then against there is Senzo, I come from Umlazi and the history, he (Senzo) comes from Umlazi. For me it was justifiable to come back and reunite with Pirates.
“I spoke to Senzo’s dad, and my grandmother being happy to see me back home, the decision I took goes back home,” commented .
