Katsande left out of Zimbabwe squad

Zimbabwe coach Norman Mapeza has not called up Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Willard Katsande to the Warriors squad.

Katsande has made a U-turn on his decision to call time on his international career after he has announced his retirement shortly after Zimbabwe was knocked out of the Africa Cup of Nations tournament last year.

“I have resolved that I will try my best to help my country to qualify for the 2019 (AFCON) tournament, and those qualifiers will be my last piece of action before I retire,” Katsande told the Herald back in February.

Zimbabwe team manager Wellington Mupandare has confirmed that the team could still be expanded to include some European-based players.
