Ovidy Karuru and George Chigova would like to see some of thier Cosafa Cup teammates playing in South Africa.

Karuru, who finished as the tournament’s top goal scorer with six goals, will be with AmaZulu next season after the club extended his stay for one more year.
“From what I have seen and, remember that I was playing with most of them for the time, if they get a contract outside Zimbabwe they can perform. We only trained together for a couple of days and we played the tournament. You can see we have quality players in our country,” said Karuru.
Sources close to the Warriors squad suggest that winger Talent Chiwapiwa could joined Baroka Fc because of his performance in the regional tournament.
“It’s good for the small boys who are playing in Zim that we won the tournament,” said Chigova.
“It will be good for the national team to have more professionals playing outside the country. It will improve our football. [And] financially, you know it’s better here than in Zim.”
