Kaizer Chiefs release striker

Kaizer Chiefs have added two more players to the list of players leaving the club in the current transfer window.

The latest player to leave Naturena is striker Emmanuel Letlotlo and goalkeeper Brylon Petersen.

Amakhosi state in a statement released on Tuesday afternoon that more players would leave the club before the start of the new season.

Chiefs have only made one signing so far when they tied Zambian striker Lazarus Kambole to a three-year-deal a fortnight ago.

“Amakhosi parted ways with no less than eight of its players in preparation of the upcoming 2019/20 season. Hendrick Ekstein, Bhongolethu Jayiya, Ryan Moon, Virgil Vries, Gustavo Páez, Khotso Malope, Emmanuel Letlotlo and Brylon Petersen have parted ways with Amakhosi for a variety of reasons. Meanwhile, talks are proceeding for the release of two or more players,” read a statement on the club’s website.

“The process of rebuilding the team ahead of the new season is underway with further announcements expected in due course.”
