'I wouldn’t advise them to sign Mbule and Lorch even if they were free to be honest,' said Khan.

Former Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Farouk Khan has warned Amakhosi against signing Thembinkosi Lorch and Sipho Mbule.
It is said that the Mamelodi Sundowns duo, who are on loan at Wydad Athletic and Sekhukhune United respectively, are faced with uncertain futures. The Brazilians are reportedly willing to let them go at the end of the season.

It is said that Chiefs were interested in Lorch and Mbule before their moves to Wydad and Sekhukhune. Speculation is rife that Amakhosi could renew their interest in June.
Khan, however, has advised Chiefs not to sign them even if they’re available on a free transfer at the end of the season, saying the duo carry a lot of baggage.
“What’s important is for Chiefs to maintain the team spirit, I wouldn’t advise them to sign Mbule and Lorch even if they were free to be honest,” Khan told the Soccerbeat podcast.
“The two players come with a lot of baggage. They’re good players, but what they do off the field is going to influence what happens on the field.
“Chiefs once signed Khama Billiat from Sundowns, and he was a very good player, but he came with a lot of off-field problems. So, when I look at this, I don’t just look at the technical and tactical ability. I also look at the mentality and discipline because what makes a great team is players who are disciplined and don’t party.”
Will Chiefs add the duo to their squad?
Whether Chiefs will add the talented duo to their squad remains to be seen as they look to form a formidable squad for next season.
Lorch, who joined Wydad on loan from Sundowns in January, seems to have regained his form that made him one of the most feared attackers in the Premier Soccer League.
