Having lost 4-1 in the KwaZulu-Natal derby against Golden Arrows prior to the Wits clash, Usuthu shocked the Clever Boys with a 3-0 defeat at the King Zwelithini Stadium.
“We shouldn’t get carried away with ourselves. When I look at the game against Golden Arrows, I thought we played a better game. I think the boys put in a shift tonight (Wednesday), they really played well,” Johnson was quoted as saying on the club’s website.
AmaZulu next host Platinum Stars at the same venue on Saturday.
