Kaizer Chiefs marketing director Jessica Motaung went to Durban to visit the security guard who was attacked by fans at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday night.

Sabelo Maziba, who was initially thought to have been a female was kicked in the head and hit with chairs by angry fans who stormed the pitch after the match against Free State Stars.

Maziba was left unconscious on the field with many thinking he had died. However, the stadium management issued a statement to clear the air about the security guard’s condition.

Maziba was discharged from hospital along with five people that sustained injuries during the pitch invasion.
Motaung flew to Durban on Tuesday to check on Maziba.
