Jali is in the last six month of his contract with Belgian club KV Oostende, which means the former Orlando Pirates man is free agent and is allowed to sign a pre-contract with a team of his choice.
Makaab revealed in an interview with Power FM that Oostende could be sold as the owner weighs up the options on the table and that could influence a move away for the Bafana Bafana midfielder.

“Andile understand that the stage to challenge himself is in Europe, in terms of stats he is in the top ten of midfielders in Belgium, the club wants to keep him but we don’t know where the club will go,” said Makaab.
Makaab admits that Jali could return to South Africa if the right offer comes along. However said a return to the Absa Premiership would be the last option.

The former Orlando Pirates coach said the midfielder’s next move will be influenced by a number of things such as him family, and the stability of his children.
“We have had a lot of interest in him from a lot of clubs in Belgium, some clubs in France and in China and the Middle East and obliviously back home in South Africa. We must be careful that what we encourage him to do we have taken every aspect of the offer into account.”
