Zwane, otherwise referred to as “Mshishi”, has been nominated for three awards at this season’s PSL year-end Awards in Durban on Sunday.
Zwane will go up against his Masandawana teammate Hlompho Kekana and Orlando Pirates’ Thembinkosi Lorch for the coveted Footballer of the Season gong and will contest with the same players for the Player’s Player and Midfielder of the Season awards.

“I’ve wanted to see myself there and now it is happening and I am really happy,” said Zwane during Sundowns’ Absa Premiership trophy parade in Pretoria on Tuesday.
“It shows that I have been doing a good job throughout the season and I am happy for myself.
“I think I contributed a lot and I have to thank my teammates because I was not going to do it alone, they are always here for me to support my game,” he added.
