Sanoka reveals that he has been motivated to work really hard so that he can always be at his best after realising that he was better than some of the overseas players they played against.

“It’s everyone’s dream to play football abroad, experiencing new things, playing football better. After our first friendly, I think now anything is possible. At some point, I think it is all about luck and who you know. When it comes to comparing football in SA and overseas, there is not much difference,” said the Galaxy defender.

“I think it is all in the mindset. It is about how much you want it, how hungry you are and how far you want to go for it. After our game, you could have easily said that you can do better than certain players and that is really encouraging because it inspires you to go an extra mile and work in order to make sure you keep your standard high.”

After the Giresunspor friendly, the Rockets went on to play against Italy based side Sampdoria, and they were hammered 5-1, before their most recent match against Saudi Arabian outfit Albatin FC, which also ended in a 1-1 stalemate.

Galaxy have now played all of the friendly matches they were scheduled to play, but the team might play more games after it was revealed that they are still talking with some of the Turkish based outfits for matches to happen.
