This follows after the teams played to a goalless draw in an entertaining clash at the Orlando Stadium on Monday night.
“I think it was a tough game, difficult game for us. I think a draw it’s a true reflection of the game, but I don’t like 0-0 draw, I like 1-1, 2-2 (draws)…There are usually goals in this game.
“Unfortunately, we couldn’t win tonight, we always win here, but we didn’t win. Pirates were strong, they were very good, and they are a very difficult team to play against. They play on breaks, on transition and they are very brave. Because the players who attack don’t come back,” said the Downs coach.
The result saw Sundowns remain at the top of the Absa Premiership log with 44 points, while Bucs climbed to second position with 41 points, level on points with Bidvest Wits who occupy third spot because of the goal difference.
