It wasn’t my gun that was used to kill Senzo Meyiwa – Chicco Twala
Veteran musician and producer Chicco Twala has denied claims that it was his gun that was used to kill former Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa.

This comes after a parody Twitter account @AdvBarryRoux caused a frenzy on social media over the weekend with claims that Meyiwa was killed by Chicco’s son, Longwe, using his gun.
Speaking to Metro FM’s Masechaba Ndlovu and Moflava on Wednesday afternoon, Chicco said his gun is always with him.
“It wasn’t missing. My firearm is always with me. I got it in 1989 and it is always in my face,” said Chicco.
Chicco admitted that police did take his gun for ballistics tests, but added that it was cleared and returned to him.

“They took my firearm and about four weeks later they said my gun is not the one.”
Chicco said if he knew that his son had killed Senzo, he would have handed him to the police.
“If Longwe had killed Senzo‚ I promise you Masechaba‚ I would be the first person to act. I don’t care. He’s my son. But if he killed Senzo‚ I would have pushed for him to go to jail. Leave me out of this thing. I wasn’t there.”
Senzo was killed in an alleged robbery at his then girlfriend’s home in Vosloorus in October 24.

No suspects have been arrested for his murder.
He alludes that he was one of the people who survived the shooting from the robbers/hitmen. What Longwe Twala does not mention is that, he is the ONE who SHOT & killed Senzo Meyiwa. #SenzoMeyiwa
