The stadium has a poor playing surface along with grand stands that don’t match those of any of the stadium that are being used to host Absa Premiership games.
Leopards has been using the stadium as their home ground while playing in the National First Division, however, the club is expected to either renovate it or move to another one that is more suited to PSL stands.

Football lovers in the Limpopo province are aware that the PSL might rule out the stadium as one of their venues for next season.
