Injuries cost me at Chiefs – Macha
Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Lewis Macha says he won’t blame anyone for his failure to make the grade at Amakhosi.

Although an unknown when he was signed in June last year, Macha became an instant hit at Amakhosi when he scored with an incredible header in the Carling Black Label Cup against Orlando Pirates.
But that was to be the last time the Zambian scored for Amakhosi and has since been released and joined Baroka FC.
“I want to show that I am a top player,” said Macha as quoted in Isolezwe on Wednesday.
“At Chiefs I was hindered by injuries and I spent so much time on the sidelines. I cannot blame anyone at Chiefs for that. After scoring in the Carling Cup I got injured, came back and played in the MTN8 and got injured again,” he explained.
“That is how football is. There is so much that happens that needs you to be strong and accept for what it is. Baroka have given me another break and I hope things will go well for me,” he added.
To prove that he was just unlucky with injury at Amakhosi, Macha has set himself a target at Bakgaga.
“I have set myself a target of 10 goals this season. I don’t want to put myself under pressure so I am setting a target I know I can reach.”
