IN MEMES: Fans react to Pitso’s ‘sour grapes’ comments

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has been called arrogant and bitter among other things on social media.

This comes after Mosimane told a media conference that he let Kaizer Chiefs win to save their coach Steve Komphela from the axe.

Before the match Sundowns fans carried a placard with the words “Farewell Komphela” suggesting that he would be fired after their team beat Chiefs.

“I’m happy to lose to Steve Komphela, he deserves a break, a reliever, he is my brother. Black coaches are very few.

“I’m trying to protect also, it’s not the first time I speak about Steve. I want him to stay on the job, he deserves a break,” said Mosimane after the match.
