After qualifying for the Nedbank Cup last 16 stage by beating Baroka FC Sono believes his side can compete in the top flight league.
Sono hopes to use their recent win over Baroka to motivate his side to get back to winning in the National First Division, Ezenkosi had lost three consecutive matches in the NFD before facing Bakgaga in a Nedbank Cup tie.
“But the league is important to us,” Sono was quoted by DailySun. “Black Leopards were 13th this time in the NFD last season and they went all the way to the promotional play-offs and won promotion. I believe we can do it and make it to the play-offs too. I can see the confidence and the believe from the boys. I miss the PSL and the PSL misses me.”
