I am not troubled – Thobejane

Baroka FC coach Kgoloko Thobejane insists he is not bothered by his side’s 4-0 hammering at the hands of a rejuvenated Mamelodi Sundowns.

An unforgiving Masandawana side launched an avalanche of goals in Pretoria on Tuesday night to shoot to the top of the Absa Premiership ahead of Bakgaga on goal difference.

“It doesn’t trouble me because I always accept results. I will always be myself and be happy even though these things are happening so that I can wake up,” said Thobejane.

“So if I am troubled it is like I am not accepting the results. Can we go back and say we must play again? No, they have won the game, that is the way it is,” he added.

Bakgaga had been leading the pack for most part of the season until this point, it was a flow of draws in their recent games that saw the Polokwane-based outfit miss an opportunity to stretch their lead at the summit.

Nonetheless, Thobejane has invested confidence in his players to continue their quest for league honours.

“The players are the ones who can fix it because they are the ones who are playing. They know themselves and their strength. They know that if you are an attacker, most importantly what you have to do is to finish, if you’ve got a chance.”
