Highlands came to compete in Premiership – Fransman
Highlands Park centre back Bevan Fransman says they have already surpassed their target for their first season back in the top flight of South African football.

The Lions of the North need a win against SuperSport United at home on Saturday to keep their top eight spot.
Fransman says the club’s success this season comes as a result of them finding a balance between having seasoned players and good youngsters.
“We are slightly disappointed, we could have been higher because we gave away silly results throughout the season,” Fransman told Phakaaathi. “To be honest as the technical team and the players we came into the league with a lot of unknowns who are starting off. We tried to be competitive.
“We are happy we are not at the bottom. We take glory in playing for the top eight in our first season back in the league.”
