Kaizer Chiefs have received a major boost ahead of Saturday’s Soweto Derby against Orlando Pirates following news that defender Teenage Hadebe is available for selection.

The Zimbabwean defender, who missed Amakhosi’s match against Bloemfontein Celtic last weekend, returned to training on Wednesday.
“Teenage felt a pain in his ankle last week, and we decided to rest him for the Celtic game. Today we put him through some tests and we feel that he will be able to train the squad again,” Chiefs physiotherapist Dave Milner told the club’s website.
Another good news for Amakhosi is that attacking midfielder Dumisani Zuma has returned to training this week after recovering from his groin injury.
“He has shrugged off the groin strain that sidelined him for the past three weeks,” Milner added.
Milner also provided update on Kabelo Mahlasela who was all smiles and jogging around the pitch on Tuesday morning.
“He is jogging on the field and will do so for the next two to three weeks before joining his teammates at training,” explained Milner.
The Soweto Derby is set to take place at FNB Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
