According to a source close to the player, Lebese’s family is happy for him.

The source further revealed that Lebese has been seeking a move to his hometown club for the past three years having met with the Sundowns management before.
“He is very happy with the move. He wanted to sign for them sometime in 2015, but Chiefs refused to release him. He grew up in Mamelodi and knows how much the people there wanted to see him in Downs colours.
“This move was long overdue and the management knew this. He was no longer giving his best performances at the club,” said the source.
