The defending Absa Premiership champions were eliminated in the first round by eventual finalists, Al Ahly of Egypt last season.
This time around, Hunt says they will look to go a step further in Africa’s premium club competition.

“Last year we were unlucky,” Hunt said.
“We drew Al Ahly and lost 1-0 in two games and then we lost to Smouha in the Confederation Cup (play-off round). We lost 1-0 with a penalty over two games,” he added.
Hunt’s side are set to face Mauritanian side Pamplemousses SC in February in a two legs preliminary round.
“We gave it a full go last year and we will give it a full go this year. We have two rounds to get into a group, so we’ll see. The Champions League helped us win the league last year because everyone had to play,” commented Hunt.
