“On my performances, I can say so far so good,” says the lanky Ghanaian ahead of their DStv Premiership match against Stellenbosch on Tuesday.

“I’m working hard and doing the things that are needed from me, things that are needed from the team.”

Chiefs go into Tuesday’s game with their tails high in the air after managing a rare 2-0 win over SuperSport away in their last game.

“Talking about the last game, we did our best… Everyone showed up and everyone pushed.

“We needed that win and at the end of the day we got the three points by following the instructions from the coaching staff. It worked out.

“The team has been doing well, I think we are getting there because we are doing what the coach wants from each player.

“It does not matter whether you play or don’t play, it is a matter of giving your best and helping the team get maximum points,” he adds.

Against Stellies, Chiefs meet a team whose confidence is also high as they have enjoyed a sterling start to their season. The Cape side are currently second on the standings with 16 points after eight games. They are behind log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns by three points.

“Going to the next game against Stellenbosch on Tuesday, for me I don’t know them that well. I played against them once I think. But that doesn’t matter, what matters is what happened on the day of the game.

“Each team comes with different tactics, style of play and approach, but for us we have our own approach and tactics. I believe we are going to be victorious on that day.

“We are going to try and do the right things, follow instruction and be there for each other so we can win it for ourselves, our families, fans and everyone in the Kaizer Chiefs fraternity.”
