The early red card was a definite turning point in TS Galaxy’s defeat to Marumo Gallants in the DStv Premiership match on Wednesday evening.

The Mpumalanga side ended up losing the tie 3-1 after Igor Makitan was sent off just 20 minutes into the game.
Galaxy had looked to be the better of the two sides until then. And it crumbled after the sending off of their best defender this season.
But coach Sead Ramovic did not want to dwell on that, saying the entire performance was not what he had expected.
“There is a lot that I could say now… But the main thing is that we didn’t come to the game with energy – we were passive. We made a lot of mistakes,” said Ramovic after the game.
“But now we must forget this game and prepare for the next one. It will be another difficult game and we have to be at our best.
“We will obviously analyse this game to see what we should not do and what we should do to improve.”
The Rockets have some time off this weekend as their next match is next Tuesday where they host Chippa United at Mbombela Stadium.
“The main point is that we didn’t take to the game like we should have. But of course the red card so early in the game does not make the game easy. We conceded two easy goals that we should not have.
“I think it will be better that I only speak to the players after I have analysed this game so we can get something to learn from it and prepare for the next game.”
