The twar started when Ajax responded to a tweet from Ea Lla Koto on the team advancing to the next round of the Nedbank Cup. “Hey @FreeStateStars, focus on Friday’s game,” read the tweet.
Ea Lla Koto responded by reminding Ajax of their shortcomings: “@ajaxcapetown it’s easy for the #urbanwarriors to say after being dumped out by a third-tier side. Nothing else to play for.”
The Urban Warriors are no strangers to Twitter battles, as they have started a few with several teams in the PSL last season.
it's easy for the #urbanwarriors to say after being dumped out by a third-tier side. 🙄 nothing else to play for.
