Amakhosi released Jayiya at the end of the season along with Gustavo Paez, Virgil Vries and Ryan Moon.
The former Cape Town City striker said he didn’t blame the club for releasing him because they had to make a business decision.
“I am not happy at all about my stats at Chiefs but… what should I be disappointed about? Should I be disappointed by the fact that I wasn’t playing a lot or should I be disappointed that I didn’t score? it’s a tricky one,” Jayiya was quoted by Sowetan.
“At the end of the day, it’s up to the club to decide who to release, football is business you have to understand that as a player.
“You have to keep positive all the time, so I am confident that I will find a club soon.”
