Former Chiefs striker joins Eagles

National First Division side Royal Eagles have bolstered their striking force by signing former Kaizer Chiefs striker David Zulu.

A source close to the player confirmed to Phakaaathi that the 31-year-old striker had joined the Eagles.

“David Zulu has signed a one-year contract with Royal Eagles,” said the source.

Zulu, who spent last season on loan at Chippa United, was deemed surplus to requirements at Naturena upon his return.

The 31-year-old trained with Polokwane City, but failed to convince Bernard Molekwa and his technical team to offer him a contract at Rise and Shine.
