Former Chiefs player buys soccer club

Former Kaizer Chiefs player Justice Sithole has bought SAB League club Khananits.

Khananits is a team based in Majuba in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal.

The former Amakhosi striker says he would like to see his side gain promotion to the National First Division and end up in the Absa Premiership.

“A lot of players from Newcastle don’t get a lot of opportunities. Players from this region need to travel to other provinces to get a chance to play,” Sithole told Isolezwe.

“It is time to have a team here that will give these deserving players a chance. The community of Newcastle loves football. We need to have a team here that plays in the NFD,” added Sithole.
