Former Chelsea star snubs PSL and move to Indonesia
Former Chelsea star Michael Essien has signed one-year deal with the Indonesian side Persib Bandung on Tuesday.

As reported by Phakaaathi earlier, the Ghana star snubbed two Premier Soccer League teams who were trying to lure him during the January transfer window.
The said teams are believe to be Tshwane rivals Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United.

Now Persib have announced that they have signed the 34-year-old midfielder on a one-year contract.
“Welcome! @MichaelEssien is officially a member of #PERSIB’s big family,” read a statement from the club.
The deal is said to make Essien the highest paid player in the Asian country with a reported 800 000 Euros a year salary.
