Dash confirmed on their website this week that the former Banyana coach has left her post as the head coach of the club and will be returning to her home country Netherlands after one season with the club.
“Although we set club records in many categories and stayed in the playoff race until the final week of the season, it is best for me to go back to my husband in the Netherlands,” Pauw said. “I thank club management for the on-going support of the changes that had to be made. I leave a young team that is ready for the future,” Pauw told the club’s website.
“The foundation is set, and I wish the club the success it deserves.”
Van Wyk, Motlhalo and Kgatlana helped Banyana defend their Cosafa Women’s Championship title at the Wolfson stadium in Port Elizabeth this past weekend.
