Fans slam PSL for not honouring Ellis Park victims
South African football fans were not happy with the Premier Soccer League failure to make plans to commemorate the 43 Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates fans that died at the Ellis Park Stadium in 2001.

A handful of fans went to the stadium yesterday to commemorate those that had died on the day and no club or league officials were there and this angered the fans.

Too late… you were shamed to tweeted this.
You are an embarrassment.
You made NO plans to properly COMMEMORATE fans(custodians of football and YOUR clients that keeps your doors opened) who died “consuming your product”? SIES!#RIPEllisPark43 #EllisPark43— Wele Segalo (@WeleSeg) 11 April 2018
I don’t see the use of this tweet if there’s no action taken….. “43” that a huge number and they’ve died supporting their sa team of choice and they’re all remembered via a tweet post. How cheap and low is that. pic.twitter.com/COybKELa0m

@KaizerChiefs @orlandopirates instead of a pointless black label cup you should have done an annual benefit match for these supporters or something
