South African football fans were surprised to hear an Evangelist claim Orlando Pirates are mentioned in the bible.
The late Evangelist NJ Sithole was referring to a bible verse that mentions the rise of dry bones from the dead.

“We support the Pirates club that is in the bible,” said Sithole before the congregation cheered and sang.

Sithole is seen in the video forming the Buccaneers’ logo of skull and cross bones as he continued to sing.
A number of Pirates supporters felt the message in the video was relevant at this stage with coach Micho Sredojevic’s winning back to back games.
