According to the Sunday Sun, Segolela’s assets are set to be auctioned at Halfway House in Midrand after the Waterfall View Homeowners’ Association got the green light to have some of his house contents auctioned to recover R50 107,49 he owes them.
The association is said to have tried to get the money from Segolela several times but ended up having to go to the Randburg Magistrate Court to repossess the former player’s plasma TV, dining-room suite and a TV stand.
“The defendant (Segolela) is indebted to the plaintiff in the sum of R50 107,49 in respect of arrear levy and other lawful charges for the period up to May 2018. Despite demands, the defendant has failed, refused and/or neglected to pay to the plaintiff the sum or any part thereof.”
Meanwhile, the association also obtained a court order allowing them to strip Ntshumayelo of some of his assets to make up for a bill worth R9 472,47.
Ntshumayelo confirmed that he was behind on payments, but denied that his assets will be auctioned.
“My stuff is still in my house, nothing was auctioned,” Ntshumayelo told the Sunday Sun.
