Earlier, Phakaaathi reported that the Highlands management was working on a deal for Letsholonyane who has been training with the club for some time.
Now his agent, Steve Kapeluschnick has confirmed to Phakaaathi that the 37-year-old midfielder has signed for Highlands.
“Yes, the deal is as good as done. He’ll be with Highlands until the end of the season,” said Kapeluschnick.
“He wanted to continue playing and he wanted to remain in Gauteng, so this is a good deal for him. It’s also a good deal for the team because he’ll add value to the team,” he added.
Letsholonyane, a product of the Jomo Cosmos academy, has also played for Hellenic, Dangerous Darkies and PJ Stars.
He was won numerous league and cup titles in his long and illustrious football career that started in 2002.
