Every goalkeeper looks up to Khune – Petersen
Young Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Brylon Petersen says every goalkeeper in the country, including professional keepers, look up to Itumeleng Khune because of his consistency and the way he has carried himself since he started at Amakhosi.

The 22-year-old shot-stopper believes Khune is the best goalkeeper in the country and has changed the whole complexion of being a goalkeeper with his great distribution of the ball and the way he reads the game.
“I don’t think there is any keeper in the country who doesn’t look up to Itu, even the professional guys. They will tell you that Itu has paved the way for goalkeepers in the country. I am privileged that I get to train with him and always learn a lot from him, and from Brilliant Khuzwayo, Bruce Bvuma and our coaches Brian Baloyi and Lee Baxter,” said Petersen.
Petersen signed with the senior team in 2016 but has spent most of his time playing in the reserve team helping the side win the first edition of the Multichoice Diski Shield recently.
