Talks between Ekstein and Chiefs have hit a snag which could see the player leave Naturena as a free agent in June.
As reported by Phakaaathi earlier, the 28-year-old midfielder and his agent were set to meet for final talks.
The forward’s latest post on Twitter seems to suggest that the talks have failed to wield positive results and that he is on his way out of Chiefs.
“Till we meet again,” wrote Ekstein.
This tweet could be perceived as a goodbye message to the Chiefs fans.
Ekstein is said to have attracted interest from several club’s in the PSL including Soweto giants Orlando Pirates.
