Eagles sign trio in desperate bid to avoid relegation
Royal Eagles are racing against the clock trying to register their three new players with the Premier Soccer League as they hope to have them available when they play Real Kings at Harry Gwala Stadium on Saturday.
Roger Sikhakhane’s team have added three new signings as they seek to avoid relegation.
Eagles have roped in Former Orlando Pirates and Chippa United defender Mpho Mvelase, former Bidvest Wits striker Ryan Chapman and Ghanaian midfielder Victor Bakah.
“We have just signed them and have not been registered as yet but we hope they will be available to play in our next match,” said Eagles manager, James ‘SMS’ Dlamini.
Eagles – who are on their fourth coach with Sikhakhane – are third from bottom and just two points above last placed Ubuntu Cape Town.
