Zulu signed a year-long contract with Eagles at the beginning of the season, however he was asked to leave before the season ended.
The former Chiefs striker, who scored one goal in five appearances for the NFD side, confirmed to Phakaaathi that his contract was terminated by Eagles.
“About two weeks ago I was asked to leave the club,” Zulu told Phakaaathi.
“I was called to the office and I had a meeting with management and they told me that my contract would be terminated.
“I thought I would be at the club for the rest of the season but I was told that they don’t need me for the last six or five games of the season. I didn’t argue with the decision because I know that I didn’t play much, I would have like to stay, but it’s done.”
