Almost the half of the 2022/23 DStv Premiership campaign has been completed with the teams forced to play plenty of matches back-to-back so that the season could go on a break for the Fifa World Cup in Qatar.

There are some players who have managed to raise their hands higher than others, in terms of individual performances helping their respective teams. Here, we look at some of the players who have made a positive impact at their clubs.
Monnapule Saleng
Orlando Pirates
Saleng has been a livewire for the Buccaneers since his return to the club after he was loaned out to Swallows FC last season. He even went on to help the club secure their first silverware of the season when he scored the winning goal in the MTN8 final.
Peter Shalulile
Mamelodi Sundowns
Of the 24 goals scored by Sundowns in the 12 games in the league, six of them come from Shalulile, who is set to return from injury for the Orlando Pirates clash on December 30.
Sibusiso Mthethwa
Richards Bay
The 31-years old Mthethwa has been a rock for the Natal Rich Boyz, who have only conceded six goals in the 13 matches they have played. The defender is one of the reasons the club is in second place on the log.
Bradley Grobler
SuperSport United
Back from a long injury lay-off, Gobler has enjoyed a good start o the new season with the striker among joint top-goal-scorers at the club, with six goals from 12 games. The lanky striker also has one assist.
Nkosinathi Sibisi
Orlando Pirates
In the last few seasons, Pirates have struggled at the back, with their not so solid. But, the arrival of Sibisi at centre back has been a positive nd the defender is one of the top performers at Bucs.
