It’s dog-eat-dog in relegation bunfight
If you thought Bidvest Wits wrapping up the Absa Premiership with a game in hand on Wednesday renders the last day of league matches dull, think again because there will still be blood, sweat and tears on May 27.

Five teams are still in danger of relegation as the season comes to a close and will be fighting for their lives as there were no changes in the relegation zone despite Chippa United scoring a big 3-0 win over SuperSport United.
Bloemfontein Celtic, under the tutelage of caretaker coach Lehlohonolo Seema, Free State Stars, Chippa United, Highlands Park and Baroka FC will be embroiled in a battle for survival. There is a mere three points separating Bakgaga who are at the bottom of the league and Phunya Selesele who are 12th.
Phunya Sele Sele need a point from their fixture against Maritzburg United to be safe from the drop, but not unless Highlands Park thrash Mamelodi Sundowns by a big margin.
The winners between the Chilli Boys and Ea Lla Koto should also be safe while Baroka need a big win over Ajax Cape Town to stand any chance of survival.
The team who finishes in 16th will be automatically relegated to the National First Division and those who finish second from bottom will contest the play-offs with Black Leopards and Stellenbosch.
