Ford SA continues to make inroads in South African football after announcing Bafana Bafana legend Doctor Khumalo as its new ambassador.

The American car manufacturer unveiled the Kaizer Chiefs stalwart as it brand ambassador.
This deal comes just after few days since Ford signed a sponsorship deal with Soweto giants Orlando Pirates.
Ford seems to be working overtime to reposition itself in the South African market after following a string of bad publicity about the explosions of Ford Kuga SUVs last year.

Khumalo is seen in pictures posing next to Ford’s flagship car the Mustang GT before making a speech at a podium.
Pirates chairman Dr Irvin Khoza is said to have chosen the same car as part of the sponsorship.
