Did Eymael take a dig at former Chiefs coach Komphela?

Eymael has been involved in a running battle with Komphela‚ who has accused the Belgian coach of campaigning for the head coach job at Chiefs.

After leading Stars to the Nedbank Cup final win over Maritzburg United on Saturday, Eymael could not resist a dig at Komphela.

“I came to Free State Stars‚ second year in South Africa‚ one trophy.

“I know some of the guys who have worked 13 years without winning a trophy,” said Eymael after the game.

Komphela, who left Chiefs last month after three trophyless seasons at Naturena‚ has yet to win silverware in his coaching career.

Meanwhile, Eymael has given teams who are said to be after his services until Friday to make him offers, or they should forget about him.

Chiefs and SuperSport United are said to be after the Belgian coach’s services.
