De Sa slams critics after Stars take Ajax’s spot in playoffs

Platinum Stars coach Roger De Sa says he is not listening to 'football experts' that have given their two cents on his team coming back from relegation to try and stay in the Absa Premiership.


Dikwena lost 1-0 to Black Leopards in their first promotion/relegation playoffs match in midweek.

“Everyone has a phone, they have laptops and iPad, their wives have it, you can’t get away from the social media, but you know in life you listen to the people that matter,” De Sa told reporters.

“When you are sick you go to the Dr, you don’t go to social media, so if you gonna be listening to all these (soccer) experts who don’t know anything, you gonna get into trouble.”
