The Buccaneers are currently without a permanent coach since Muhsin Ertugral’s sudden resignation in September and Malesela was one of the coaches who have been linked with the vacant post.
As reported in Phakaaathi’s Mgosi pages on Tuesday, Pirates boss, Irvin Khoza is said to be looking to hire a local coach who understands local football and the club’s style. Malesela is a former Pirates player and has been praised for the attractive football the Chilli Boys have been playing lately.
“Malesela is going to Pirates but not now, he will join them in June. The loaning of players between the two teams is just a ploy so he can start working with some of them now. And the three he has sent to Pirates he already knows,” alleged the source.
