On Saturday afternoon, Tinkler will face his former side for the second time after he defeated City in the MTN8 final in October.
“City have started the league very well, it is going to be a tough game because they are going to be motivated,” said Tinkler ahead of their clash to be played at the Mbombela Stadium.
“We are SuperSport United and from what we have achieved this season and last season, we are a team to beat. We can’t underestimate them at all, they’ve had good results and bad results. I also had a few good results and bad results when I was there. I think they have they have the players there who have got the ability to turn that around,” he added.
