The game is set to be played at Harry Gwala Stadium at 3pm.
“The league race remains so tight and we have to beat Maritzburg on today,” said City coach Eric Tinkler.
“We need to get the players back down to earth to start working on our next match against Maritzburg.
“The result against Chiefs will mean nothing if we don’t get a result against Maritzburg.
“We have the opportunity of a lifetime but we need each player to concentrate for the next 30 days and work hard‚ putting aside everything else.
“In the next 30 days we will either make it or not – that’s the harsh reality,” added Tinkler.
United, other side, will be looking to maintain their winning form when they face the Citizens.
The Team of Choice is fresh from two consecutive wins over Chippa United and Baroka FC, but they face a tough task of stopping the City, who beat Kaizer Chiefs 3-2 in their last league outing.
