Sukazi, however, added that Chiefs are interested in keeping the player and have started talks to extend his stay.

“Yes it’s true that Cape Town City contacted me about Khuzwayo two months ago. I told them to get in touch in January, we are not allowed to talk about a possible move right now because he still has a contract with Chiefs, by law we can only talk in January,” Sukazi told Isolezwe.

“Because the team is busy with games and travelling we decided to put the talks on hold with Chiefs. But like I said Chiefs wants to conclude the contract extension by January. Brilliant is still happy at Chiefs but we can’t stop teams from asking about him.”
